Health Tech, a programme run by WMG at the University of Warwick, which helps West Midlands SMEs to innovate new medical & healthcare products and diversify into the healthcare sector, has received a £1.5m injection to expand and extend its work through to the end of 2008.

Instead, the evidence suggests that the number of such court claims has continued to fall.

Courts disqualify company directors risking pounds almost 300 times more often than those risking people

Research published this week by the University of Warwick’s School of Law for the Health and Safety Executive, has found that for almost 20 years company directors were almost 300 times more likely to be disqualified by a court from acting as a director for insolvency or other financial reasons than they were for breaching health and safety rules.

Halloween marks new peak for football manager dismissals - 13 chopped by end of October

New research by Dr Sue Bridgewater at the University of Warwick’s Warwick Business School reveals that the rate of dismissal of football managers continues to rise with a new peak in dismissals by Halloween. The research shows that the increased rate of dismissals is not matched by a decline in the performance of the managers dismissed.

CII and WMG sign MoU to further higher education in India

The Confederation of Indian Industry and Warwick Manufacturing Group of the University of Warwick have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to continue programmes for training of practicing managers and to develop internship programmes for them.
