First Year Undergraduate and IFP Accommodation 2026/2027

Eligibility Criteria

You need to have a full time, full year offer of study at Warwick that you have accepted either as your firm or insurance choice through UCAS to submit an application for first year undergraduate accommodation

To submit an application for IFP (International Foundation Programme) accommodation you will need a full time offer of study at Warwick on the IFP programme

Have your seven digit University of Warwick ID number ready. This can be found in your study offer email. Please contact admissions if you do not have a University ID number.

If you have a medical condition or support needs that may affect your accommodation allocation, including a physical or hidden disability, you'll need to ensure follow our specific accommodation requirementsLink opens in a new window process in addition to applying online. You should ensure you complete this process no later than 17:00 on 17 August 2026.

Your confirmation email and offer of accommodation will be sent to the contact email address on your student record. This is taken from your UCAS application if you are applying for first year undergraduate accommodation, so please ensure that this is correct on UCAS before applying for accommodation. You will need to provide an email address you will still be able to access in September 2026, so please bear this in mind if yours is a school or college email address.

When to Apply

Accommodation for first year undergraduate students is not offered on a first-come first-served basis. Find out more in our FAQs.

You'll need to apply online by the 18 August 2026 in order to meet one of the conditions to be guaranteed university-allocated accommodation. Whilst most first year undergraduate students live on campus, some will live in our off campus partnership accommodation.

We would still encourage you to apply online for accommodation if you miss this date as your application will still be considered. We will continue to allocate eligible students who meet our conditions after 18 August 2026 on a rolling basis, across both our campus residences and partnership accommodation off campus, subject to availability.

You will receive your offer of accommodation by email around late August/early September time. Please contact us if you have not heard from us regarding your offer by 8 September 2026.

How to Apply

We want you to have the best possible experience when applying online with Warwick Accommodation.

Follow the 7 steps below by clicking the arrows or numbers for help navigating through our online application process.

Please note: do not rush to apply. Applications received before 18 August are considered equally.


Step 1


Click the 'apply for accommodation' button below and log in to the accommodation hub.

You should select the 'Prospective Students' option and then register/log in with your Warwick ID number and password.

Step 2


Once registered and logged in please make sure you have selected the correct academic year (2026/2027).

You will need to click 'Create Application' and then select the correct application type from the drop down options.

Step 3


You now need to answer some profile questions for us to better understand your habits and hobbies.

We aim to use this information to allocate you to a particular corridor/flat closer to move-in time if you are offered accommodation on campus through our ballot process.

Step 4


Now you'll need to confirm whether you have any specific accommodation requirements for any medical or disability needs you may have.

If you have specific accommodation requirements, don't forget you'll need to ensure you contact Wellbeing and Student Support and be fully assessed and approved by 17:00 on 17 August 2026.

Step 5


You'll then need to select your accommodation preferences. You have to choose seven options and list them in order of preference.

Please carefully read through the information provided at this stage as it will outline any limitations to bear in mind when selecting your accommodation preferences.

Step 6


After you have confirmed your accommodation preferences you will be shown a summary of your application details.

Please carefully check your application details, including your accommodation preferences and their order are correct, before submitting your application for accommodation.

Step 7


You should receive a confirmation email containing your application details within 12 hours after successfully submitting your application.

We advise you to check your emails including your spam/clutter/junk inbox to ensure you have received your confirmation email.

If you do not receive a confirmation email or if you notice any differences between your confirmation email and the information you submitted at the time of applying online, please contact accommodation@warwick.ac.uk.
