Resources to support colleagues within departments with PSRB activity have now been developed, with information available on the new PSRB webpages.

Whilst it is acknowledged that colleagues in departments are best placed to engage with their own professional bodies, and therefore manage PSRB activity, the level of risk associated requires central support and reporting at various points throughout the academic year. The webpages have been designed to support colleagues in understanding what is required centrally for PSRB activity, including what should be reported into the committee that has institutional oversight (Academic Quality and Standards Committee – AQSC), and provide an overview of why having central involvement is required.

To enable providing assurance to AQSC, a proforma has been drafted to capture relevant information and guide the EPQ-led support process. The expectation is that departments will inform EPQ of expected activity and will actively engage with the team to ensure the right level of support can be provided to the department and assurances given to AQSC.
