Course and Module Approval The University approves all partner institution courses and modules (including all modifications)

Intellectual Property Partner institution owns intellectual property (IP) for all of its courses and modules unless otherwise specified in the validation agreement. Copyright for any other IP in the curriculum and associated course material shall be the property of the party creating the IP
Quality Assurance The University will provide quality assurance
Academic Regulations

Partner institution with oversight provided by the University

Management Collaborative Management Group (CMG) has oversight of the operational management of the partnership and collaborative provision
Recruitment and Admission The partner institution has overall responsibility for recruitment and admissions
Enrolment Students will enrol with the partner institution and the University
Accommodation, IT and Learning Resources Partner institution provide accommodation, library, virtual learning environment (VLE) and IT facilities for students unless otherwise negotiated as part of contractual arrangements. Students will not receive an University IT account
University Library and E-Resources Students have walk-in access to the University physical library and e-resources unless otherwise negotiated as part of contractual arrangements
Academic Staff and Project Supervision Approval Partnership institution academic staff approved by the Chair of the Partnership Committee. Project supervisors approved by the academic department responsible for the partnership
Staff Development Partner institution staff have access to negotiated University staff development detailed as part of contractual arrangements
University of Warwick Student ID Card Students have Student ID card. Agreement on building access and card collection stated in validation agreement
Sports Facilities Partner institution provides facilities unless otherwise negotiated as part of contractual arrangements
Student Support and Wellbeing Partner institution provides student support and wellbeing services
Student Voice The partner institution will provide a Staff Student Liaison Committee and enable course and module feedback
Students Union All students are entitled to Student Union membership
Student Handbooks The partner institution will provide the student with a Student Handbook, Course Handbook and Module Guidance

UKVI Sponsored student

(Tier 4)
Under Tier 4 regulations University cannot sponsor validated students. Partner institution should register through Office of Students (OfS) to be able to gain a Tier 4 sponsorship licence
Validation Fee Pricing structure negotiated as part of contractual arrangements with advice from University Finance Office
