The chaplaincy invites you to sign up for one of those acts of service by:
- Pop into chaplaincy and let us know what you are doing.
- Let the Chaplaincy know what you are doing by emailing
- Take a picture of a completed act of service for Chaplaincy’s Social Media and email it to McCormick@warwick.ac.uk
Examples of what you might do:
- Sign up to learn how to save a life Bystanders can save lives - Sudden Cardiac Arrest (warwick.ac.uk)
- Take 7 items of dried or tinned food to a food bank (or bring to chaplaincy)
- Write a letter to someone facing persecution – find out how at csw.org.uk/connectencourage or www.amnesty.org.uk/write-for-rights
- knit a square for a blanket for a refugee (come along to Knot Just knitting and Knitting at Chaplaincy 14.00-16.00 on Thursdays in term (except the bank holiday). Knit a 20 by twenty square of stitches and contribute to a child blanket.
- Drop a small card to a ‘Hidden Hero’ to show they are noticed
- Say thankyou to some one who regularly serves you in a shop. Treat them with flowers or chocolate
- You may already be doing something you want to share.
