(Y)ours is a multi-faith chaplaincy
We delight in the vibrancy and diversity of those who use our spaces, and are mindful of others' needs, practises and viewpoints.
The Chaplaincy is a place of Generous Hospitality.
We all play a part in making (y)our spaces welcoming for everyone:
-
being good neighbours if we're hosting an event;
-
noticing the needs of the few as well as the many;
-
going beyond what's necessary ("I didn't use that plate, why should I wash it?") to what's generous ("how can I leave this place better than I found it?").
The Chaplaincy is first and foremost a religious and spiritual place for all.
-
Bookings are considered for the Octagonal 'Central Space' in the Chaplaincy Centre; the foyer, study area and kitchen cannot be booked and must remain free for others to use.
-
Events must never make any other user of our space(s) feel excluded, singled-out, discriminated or marginalised. People of other beliefs, cultures and faiths will be using the facilities whilst your events take place.
-
The Chaplaincy kitchen should not be used for catering for events other than in the Chaplaincy.
