About the Year of PGR
The Year of Postgraduate Research will create purposeful space to recognise and celebrate the diverse contributions of postgraduate researchers to research, impact and university culture.
Across the year, we will bring together postgraduate researchers, supervisors, other colleagues, alumni, partners and the wider community to:
- Share the experiences and achievements of postgraduate researchers.
- Help prospective and current researchers find and access opportunities.
- Support researchers to thrive during their postgraduate journey.
- Explore career and progression pathways beyond postgraduate research.
- Build stronger local, national and global connections.
The programme will combine existing activity with new events and activities. It will also create lasting resources and opportunities that continue beyond 2027.
