UPDATE (30/07/2024): Road Closures & Traffic Management for the Sustrans Cycle Scheme - Lynchgate Road & Shultern Lane

UPDATE (30/07/2024): Between Monday 12th February - 2nd August 2024, sections of Lynchgate Road & Shultern Lane will be closed to support a segregated bi-directional cycle route for the Sustrans Cycle Scheme and improve pedestrian crossings. The project will be delivered in 2 phases:

  • Phase 1: Closing the left turn in/right turn out from the junction of Shultern Lane and direct any traffic requiring access to Aldi around the circulatory route. Access to Tesco will not be affected and diversion signs will be posted.
  • Phase 2: Lynchgate Road will be closed at the entrance to Tescos and traffic will be directed around the circulatory route. Diversion signs will be posted.

West Midlands Cycle Hire launching on campus soon

West Midlands Cycle Hire is coming to University of Warwick, linking our campus into a network of 1500 hire bikes and 170 docking stations across the region.
