From Monday 7th October, there will be 3-way temporary traffic lights and a partial closure of the service and delivery bays on Library Road and Lord Bhattacharyya Way for essential road trenching. Between Monday 4th of November - Friday 22nd November, 3-way temporary traffic lights will be on Gibbet Hill road to install a new pedestrian crossing. Traffic delays are expected, the lights will be manually controlled between 6:30am-9:30am and 15:30-18:30pm in an effort to minimise disruption. The pathway between Kirby Corner Road and the Westwood New Education building will be closed due to ongoing construction work in the area. Alternative access is available through Avon Road.

From 1st August 2024, pedestrian diversions will be in place from Gibbet Hill Road & Library Road for access into the buildings for Physics, Physical Sciences & Chemistry.
