Hot Works Fire Watch Sign Off

Introduction

‘Hot works’ requiring permits are all temporary operations involving open flames or producing heat and/or sparks. This includes, but is not limited to, brazing, welding, cutting, grinding, thawing, and the use of heat guns.

As part of these works you as the fire watch person are required to carry out a continuous fire watch after the completion of all hot works for a minimum of 1 hour, during this time the site of the hot works must not be left unattended.

The declaration below confirms that you have carried out the required fire watch for the task being carried out as part of the stated Hot Works permit (please refer to the written instruction within the hot works permit). You are also confirming you have removed all sensor caps and any alarms that have been deactivated are fully reinstated and working correctly before leaving site.
