IT Services have therefore taken the decision to identify and implement an alternative solution to the current iPrint/GPAS architecture.

The timing of this replacement work coincides with other ITS technical teams work to develop a Windows 7 desktop environment for our student/public access workareas.

The Network Printing team has been working closely with our colleagues across the department to ensure that the chosen solution will offer a fast, reliable and flexible printing service.

We envisage that the replacement for GPAS will be in place at the end of July and that it will enter operational use at the beginning of August. Further details will be made available at the earliest convenience.
