About BlogBuilder and Warwick Blogs
IT Services' Web Team developed Warwick Blogs and BlogBuilder to provide students and staff with an easy way to publish a personal web site.
There are many different uses for blogs at Warwick – these include developing an essay plan, creating a photo gallery or recording your personal development process. Blogs are also useful tools for staff in research and teaching, and have applications in elearning.
Development
We ran focus groups before starting development to investigate what students thought about web publishing and blogging. We also conducted usability studies to ensure the system was easy to use.

There was a publicity campaign to promote the Warwick Blogs when we launched the system.
