Sitebuilder 2.258 was released on 8th March 2012. Highlights from this release include:

Usability improvements to navigation in ID6 sites

We have made improvements to both "horizontal" (tabbed) and "vertical" (left tree) navigation on ID6 pages so that on long pages, it is always possible to see the navigation. On horizontal navigation pages, the tab bar will "stick" to the top of the page when it is scrolled past, and on vertical navigation it will remain constantly on screen, even when scrolling down long pages.

Shorter Go.Warwick addresses

It is now possible to quote all Go.Warwick addresses in the format http://warwick.ac.uk/shortcode - so if, for example, you have a Go address called "ec205", you can now quote it in the form http://warwick.ac.uk/ec205 as well as http://go.warwick.ac.uk/ec205 and http://www.warwick.ac.uk/go/ec205

Much-improved embedded Twitter feeds

We have made a number of improvements to embedded Twitter feeds to make them nicer to use and add extra functionality. This includes:

• Big visual improvements - you can go back to the plain text feed by adding plaintext=true to your [twitter] tag
• Adding of actions to tweets

Restricting viewing of Page Comments only to users who can post comments

You can now optionally restrict viewing of page comments only to users who can comment on the page. Currently this functionality is only available by request; if you would like to enable it on your pages please contact webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk

General fixes and improvements

• Next/previous links no longer push content to the right when on the last page
• There should be less white space at the end of blocks that end with paragraphs
