Previously known as Lib 1, the Library will be refurbishing this ground floor space ready for launch soon.

A full makeover has been underway over the summer break, to improve and enhance the space. Improvements will include the installation of kitchenette facilities including a microwave and hot drinking water, as well as a mixture of relaxed seating and tables, supporting a rest and refuelling area. The space will be brightened up with natural light through the installation of new glazing, lightwell and larger entrance area.

The well-lit and thoughtfully designed area will provide a welcoming atmosphere for individuals seeking a break, study session, or even a late-night catch-up with friends over a warm cup of tea or coffee.
