The Library is introducing a more flexible and user-friendly system for loans and fines!

From 3 July 2023, the new and improved system will introduce the following changes:

• Permanent removal of Library fines
• Increase to one-year loan periods for standard loans
• Unlimited borrowing on books
• Automatic loan renewals

To ensure that all of our Library community have fair access to resources, we will need to reinforce the recall system:

• If a recalled book is not returned by the due date, your access to borrowing will be temporarily blocked
• If after two weeks of a recalled item being overdue, the item isn’t returned, you will be invoiced for a replacement
• Damaged and lost books will also still be invoiced

You are still encouraged to check your 'My Library Account' regularly to stay on top of your borrowing status and avoid any issues with recalled items.
