Rosetrees Trust opens fund for collaborative research

A fund to stimulate collaborative research between Medicine and Mathematics or Computing and/or Artificial Intelligence has been launched by the Rosetrees Trust. The Rosetrees Trust Interdisciplinary Prize 2019, which is worth up to £250,000 funded over three years, has been established to help develop collaborative studies between researchers in different fields.

The funding is designed to create new research collaborations leading to significant breakthroughs with real potential to improve human health. Full guidance is available here.

Please note: Institutions can only make one application. Consequently, an internal bidding round will be held to select a Warwick application to put forward.

Those interested in applying are invited to submit a two page proposal, together with an email indicating HoD’s support, to researchstrategydev@warwick.ac.uk by 12pm on Friday 4 January, 2019 with the email subject line ‘Rosetrees’.

Bids will then be reviewed by a senior panel of representatives, with a view to the selected bid being submitted to the Rosetrees Trust at the end of February.

Support for the development of applications is available via your usual R&IS departmental contacts.
