Warwick is launching a sector leading programme to address under-representation of black academics in UK Higher Education. The Warwick PATHWAY programme will launch at an official event on 22 November, 13:00-14:00 at the Oculus, University of Warwick.

The UK is to re-join the EU's flagship scientific research scheme, Horizon, and be able to fully participate in the programme on the same terms as other associated countries. The deal will allow UK institutions to access the £85bn research programme and pave the way to rebuilding EU partnerships.

Hear from representatives of the largest STEM research funders about their vision for shaping research culture at the Funders’ Research Culture Workshop. The event will feature representatives from UKRI (Research England), Wellcome Trust, Cancer Research UK and the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) who will share their visions, and update the research community on funding policies.

Successful applicants for Horizon Europe grant awards will be guaranteed funding regardless of the outcome of the UK’s efforts to associate to Horizon Europe, under a new scheme announced by the UK Government on 29 November 2021.

Four Warwick academics have been named in the 2021 Highly Cited Researcher list.
