This workshop was led by Mike Podmore, CEO of STOPAIDS, and Meg Davis, Professor of Digital Health and Rights, at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM). It provided a hands-on introduction to advocacy strategy planning: including mapping the landscape, analysing power, identifying achievable goals, developing a problem-driven research agenda, mobilising diverse allies, lobbying and cultivation, and using research to make a case for change.

Imkaan, in collaboration with Professor Ravi Thiara, University of Warwick, will be hosting the launch of Why Should Our Rage Be Tidy? Minoritised Survivors Experiences of Mental Health in a context of Violence and Abuse.
The research was led by Professor Ravi Thiara in collaboration with Sumanta Roy, Imkaan and Dr Akima Thomas, Women and Girls Network.
It will be a closed event but there will be some spaces available for interested researchers.
