Making progress in your 2nd year (ER2)
This course is designed to help you manage the challenges of the mid-stages of your PhD, to stay motivated, and to make effective progress in your thesis. It will focus in detail on the requirements of a doctorate (the hypothesis, the thesis structure and the assessment criteria); and help you action plan accordingly.
By the end of the workshop you will have:
- recognized the progress you have made in relation to your overall project
- begun to define and refine your research hypothesis and your thesis structure
- understood the requirements of the PhD, including the assessment criteria
- reviewed how you manage your PhD process
- developed a short- to mid-term action plan to help you successfully complete your thesis.
