Go Global Fair - Bursary Prize Terms and Conditions

T&C’s - Go Global Fair £100 Bursary Prize

 

  1. The prize draw is open to all current Warwick students and can be entered by undertaking all of the following:

    (a) Attending the Go Global Fair on 19 November 2025, 1-4pm in the Rootes Building

    (b) Collecting the code word from at least six stallholders at the fair

    (c) Completing the online scavenger hunt here and enter the six code words next to the exhibitors you spoke to. Please ensure you add your full name, Warwick ID and Warwick email address to be entered and submit the form

  2. The email address and Warwick Student ID number provided will be used only for the purposes of contacting the prize draw winner
  3. There is one bursary prize of £100. This is on the condition of securing a short-term international opportunity in Summer 2026. In order to secure the £100 bursary, you will need to evidence your proof of placement (this must include your name, the organisation details and the address of the placement), activity details (including name, website, activity type and location), dates of the placement and proof of travel
  4. You must undertake an overseas placement (not in your home country) with a duration of between 3 and 60 days, which must start by 31 August 2026 at the latest
  5. You will also need to upload your bank details to e-vision. We will share full instructions on how to do this
  6. If you are successful, you will be contacted by e-mail to sign a contract accepting the bursary. HereLink opens in a new window is a copy for your reference
  7. Once we receive all the evidence confirming your 2026 placement and signed contract, we will process the funds. We anticipate funds will be sent within 6 weeks of receiving the evidence.
  8. The prize draw will take place on 20 November 2025
  9. You will be asked to complete an impact statement, reflective piece or promotional video showcasing your experience on your return

  10. A cash alternative is not available
  11. This bursary prize will not inhibit you from applying for other short-term funding
  12. The winner will be selected at random and will be notified by email
  13. The winner’s department and year of study will be published. The winner’s name will be shared on request
  14. One entry only per student
  15. The prize draw is administered by the Student Opportunity, University of Warwick, University House, Kirby Corner Road, Coventry CV4 8UW
  16. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions
  17. By accepting the Short Term Mobility bursary I agree that:

    (a) I am a current student fully enrolled at the University of Warwick. If my enrolment status changes, I will immediately notify the programme coordinator using the email address provided above

    (b) I will engage in full with the requirements of the programme, including: to attend programme briefings and complete the programme in full

    (c) I will conduct myself in accordance with the Warwick ValuesLink opens in a new window

    (d) I will complete as requested short and long-term programme evaluation surveys/ questionnaires, including after I graduate from the University

    (e) I will provide as requested a brief reflection on the impact of the programme on my personal development. I understand that I may be asked for a reflection at the end of the programme and in future, including after I graduate from the University. When a reflection is requested, I will be provided with more information and asked to sign a consent form explaining how the reflection will be used

    (f) I must consent to these Terms and Conditions in order to receive my bursary

    (g) I will provide my bank details as requested for receipt of my bursary

    (h) My bursary will be a one-off payment in GB pounds

    (i) I will return my bursary to the University (or a proportion of my bursary, if agreed by the University) if I do not complete the activity for which the bursary was provided

  18. I confirm that if travelling overseas, I will complete as requested a risk assessment and abide by any travel safety advice directed to by the University

  19. The participant shall ensure they have adequate insurance coverage in place prior to travel
