2. *IMMIGRATION PERMISSION (Visas)* It is important that you ensure you have an appropriate visa or immigration permission for studying in the UK. Please visit the Visa Advice webpage for Study Abroad/Erasmus+/Exchange students here: https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/study/international/immigration/othervisas/exchange Once you have finished reading this information, please complete the following section. Short Term Study visa: Generally we recommend this type of visa for students attending Warwick for one term only. For both visa nationals and non-visa nationals, a ‘visa supporting letter’ and information leaflet will be forwarded to you in support of your visa application in due course. If there is a good reason why you should apply for a different visa, please get in touch with the Study Abroad team. Tier 4 visa Generally we recommend this type of visa for students attending Warwick for two terms or for the full academic year. A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) will be generated by the University of Warwick and sent to you by email. The email will also contain information which you need for your Tier 4 visa application. As correspondence regarding the CAS is sent by email, it is essential that you continue to monitor your email address until you receive your CAS. If there is a good reason why you should not apply for a Tier 4 visa, please get in touch with the Study Abroad team. If you receive your CAS and then decide not to use it, you must notify the Study Abroad team. If you already hold a valid immigration permission that allows you to study in the UK, please attach a copy of your immigration permission to this acceptance form. You may be contacted at a later date if we require any more information.
