Epilepsy

Epilepsy, an unseen disability, affects people in different ways. It is not just the epilepsy per se that impacts a person but also the side effects medication and the impact on life style. Please work through the following presentation which is designed to give you an idea of the types of epilepsy and the impact for students. Many people are unsure of what to do if they are with someone when they have a seizure - don't be that person! Looking after someone as they are seizing and recovering is relatively straight forward. Please watch this short video so that you are prepared.
