- Hear and see highlighted words on screen
- Download books and use software such as Read&Write Gold or ClaroRead to read them.
- Create specialist formats such as digital braille and physical braille
Who is eligible?
Students who are blind or partially sighted
Students with a learning disability - Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, AD(H)D
Students with a physical disability that significantly affects use of printed materials.
Unfortunately you are not eligible to use this service because English is your second language or because you prefer to listen to, rather than read, text.
How do I access the resources?
The University of Warwick has an institutional membership to RNIB Bookshare and through this you can access resources if you meet the membership criteria.
You must be registered as a student here at the University of Warwick and provide evidence of your disability or learning difference.
Use this form to apply for a membership. Once you have your sign-on you can use the service as and when you wish.
NB if you are blind or visually impaired, or have a physical disability that makes use of a keyboard difficult, Disability Services will arrange for your course materials to be sent to you in an electronic format. Please contact Disability Services.
