Student Health and Wellbeing Service

Student Health and Wellbeing Service
Our team of Health and Wellbeing Practitioners offer tailored and non-judgemental practical and emotional support to all students. No problem is too big or too small, we listen and offer advice in a safe, confidential space. We adopt a holistic, person centred approach to wellbeing to ensure you start well, stay well and succeed well at the University of Warwick.
How can we help?
The first step in accessing support is to have a consultation. The good news is you don’t need to book - just drop in at the Wellbeing reception on the ground floor of Senate HouseLink opens in a new window Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 15:00. If you prefer an online option, you can speak to a Practitioner online via the Wellbeing PortalLink opens in a new window during these hours too.
Our services
We can help with a range of practical or emotional matters including, but not limited to:
- Managing anxiety and panic attacks
- Low Mood/Depression
- Self-harm
- Procrastination
- Motivation
What happens after your consultation?
Following your consultation, we'll work with you to create a tailored support plan. This might include follow up Wellbeing appointments to explore coping strategies, attending one of our group sessions (like our ADHD group) or receiving specialist support from our Mental Health Nursing team, or Sexual and Domestic Abuse Advisers. We can also refer you to our partner teams such as Counselling and Psychotherapy or Disability Services.
