Celebration Month

We celebrated Academic Integrity month from 27 October to the end of November 2025. Academic integrity means committing to honesty in academic work, giving credit where we've used others' ideas and being proud of our own achievements. This year's celebratory theme is: Critical Minds. Responsible AI: Exploring technology with curiosity, integrity, and critical insight.

Critical Thinking is the ability to independently analyse facts, data, information, and opinions to form an evaluation and engage in debate.

Creative competition

Mind Meets Machine!

How can humans use Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly, and with integrity, curiosity, and critical insight?

We challenged you to creatively represent what this means to you for a chance to win up to £100 in shopping vouchers! You could also gain points toward the Warwick Award.

The competition is now closed and winners have been announced!

Take a look at last year's competition entries

Last academic year, we celebrated in February 2025 and focused on taking your university skills into professional life. The competition invited students to make a creative submission answering the question:  How can academic integrity set you up for professional integrity in the workplace?

We received many fantastic entries!

Celebration pop-up events

Throughout the celebration month, we hosted a series of pop-up events across campus at which you could talk to our Academic Integrity experts from the SU Advice Centre team and your Research and Academic Support Librarian for tailored advice. There were also opportunities for you to test your knowledge and critical thinking in our AI-themed challenges for a chance to win exciting prizes.

There was a technical problem generating this calendar feed.
