Each year, the student body elects seven student officers, all of whom take a year out from their studies to preside over the Union as your representatives. These Sabbatical Officers – or 'Sabbs', as you’ll commonly hear them referred to – work alongside dedicated SU staff to deliver a wealth of services for you.

This year's Sabbs are Larissa Lennedy (Education), Liam Jackson (President), - Ellie King (Postgraduate, starts 1 Sept), Leo Palma Carranza (Societies), Ben Newsham (Democracy & Development), Balraj Dhingra (Sports), Jemma Ansell (Welfare & Campaigns).
