Ramadan at Warwick
From 17 February - 18 March, Muslim students and staff in our community will be observing Ramadan, a holy month of reflection and fasting. You can find more details on our Ramadan at Warwick web page including details of the 'One Fast Challenge' event on 26 February, which invites everyone at Warwick to take part. SU: Varsity returns!
Our annual showdown with Coventry University returns on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February. This includes two Varsity Basketball showdowns as Warwick takes on Coventry in our annual head-to-head rivalry on Friday, 27 February. Be sure to bring your friends and family to show your support for #TeamWarwick, and don't miss out on our fantastic freebies. The Varsity After Party will take place on Saturday 28 February from 8pm in the Copper Rooms, The Atrium - get your tickets today!
Registering your attendance digitally
We are updating the way attendance is recorded in teaching sessions to a new digital process. You will be able to tap your student ID card on the devices by the doors to the room and your attendance will be recorded. Find out more and read our Frequently Asked Questions.

Lunar New Year: Chinese Year of the Horse
Join us on Monday 16 February for this huge cross-cultural celebration. We’ll be screening the Chinese New Year Gala, hosting the Wishing Tree, tucking into free hot dumplings, enjoying crafts and games, watching student performances, and an unforgettable Lion Dance in the Piazza. To add to the excitement, our Eatwise Kitchen chefs have created a special festive treat. Have you tried ‘Nian Gao’ (年糕 /nyen-gao/), the traditional ‘year cake'? You can pick one up for just 99p from 16 -20 February at all Eatwise outlets.

Sports Hub: Warwick Women's Night In
Come along to 'Warwick Women’s Night In' at the Sports Hub. Taking place on 5 March between 7pm and 9:30pm, ‘Warwick Women’s Night In’ promises to be a fantastic evening, celebrating activity and wellness. Open to women from the University of Warwick’s staff and student community, the evening will include drop-in and bookable sessions, and an opportunity to speak with the Active Wellbeing team about ways to get moving across campus.

Sign up to take part in the Summer Resonate Festival!
Members of the local community will be visiting campus for an all-ages day out on Saturday, 30 May. We are looking for students interested in sharing their work through hands-on activities, short workshops, performances and more! We are here to help you share your work and welcome submissions from students and staff across all faculties and departments. Most attendees will be ages 5-11 accompanied by adults, and support will be available for activity design, rehearsals, and materials. Express your interest by Friday, 20 February!
Wellness Day on 11 February!
Join us on 11 February from 12:30 - 3:30pm in OC0.01 for a selection of activities designed to help you take a break from studies and focus on your wellbeing. From mindfulness pop-ups and an aromatherapy table, to a support services information fair and a talk from mental health advocate Ryan Ridgeway, take some time out of your day to relax and reflect on wellbeing. You can even attend the annual Mini-Farm!

Green Week 2026
Green Week is a fun week of events spanning from 2 – 6 February (with a bonus event on 7 February), focusing on all things Green and Sustainable, organised by the Sustainability Forum in the SU. If you’re a passionate student interested in Sustainability and SDGs and want to run your own events or projects but don’t have the funding, find out how to apply for some of the £5000 Sustainability fund.

Report + Support Drop-ins
Drop-ins provide a safe & confidential space for any student with concerns to receive appropriate information & signposting. A Liaison Officer will meet you in the foyer of the Humanities building and escort you to a confidential space. You don’t need to provide your personal details. Sessions take place Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays between 9:30am and 10:30am in the Humanities Building, Main Entrance Foyer, and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, but you will be given a timeslot. Each session lasts around 20 minutes.

Holocaust Memorial Day
We are commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day across the University to remember the victims of the Holocaust, and reflect on its enduring lessons. Join the Candlelight Vigil on the Piazza today 11am - 5pm, listen to a talk from Holocaust survivor Uri Winterstein, or visit the Library to view the special book exhibition.
