Getting money sorted for Term 3

A blog by Georgia, Student Funding Advisor.

Welcome back for the final term of the academic year!

Exams are approaching fast, but getting your money sorted now means one less thing to worry about during the exam period.

Your final maintenance loan payment from student finance should arrive a few days into the term. To find out exactly when, check the payment schedule in your student finance account. To help you find this, SFE has published this video on how to check your payment schedule. For Warwick Bursary students, your third instalment will be paid on Friday 17 May.

For continuing students, this is also the perfect time to reapply for Student Finance. Remember, unlike UCAS, you must reapply to SFE every year. So to avoid starting the next academic year with an empty bank account, log on to student finance and reply before the deadline of 21 June.

This is also the perfect time to set out a budget, if you haven’t already. There's nothing worse than finishing your exams and finding you’ve not got any money left to celebrate with your friends. If you need help to get you started, then check out our budgeting guide.
