Change to undergraduate home tuition fees in 2025/26

On 4 November, the UK Government announced an increase in the tuition fee cap, in line with inflation. The University of Warwick’s Executive Board has consequently confirmed a change in fees for undergraduate home students, from £9,250 to £9,535 (an increase of £285 for full-time students). This will be in place initially for one year (2025/26), and longer-term plans for the Higher Education sector will be set out by the Government.

Alongside the tuition fee increase, maintenance loans will also rise by 3.1%. Higher Education sector bodies including Universities UK, Russell Group, and the National Union of Students (NUS) have lobbied the Government for this support for students, in line with the rise in tuition fees.

We will keep you updated over the coming weeks. You can access support through the University’s Hardship Fund, our Wellbeing and Student Support team, and the Students’ Union’s Advice Centre.
