Buses and Bus Passes

National Express offer a discounted monthly pass, four weekly and termly bus passes, and Stagecoach offer discounted fares through a one term, three term or annual pass. Find out more about bus pass options with both operators.


National Express No.14

The University has partnered with National Express to provide a new bus service, bus number 14. This service is subsidised by the University, so you can use it for a fare of only £1.50 if shown a University ID card. The service connects campus to Coventry City Centre, Tile Hill Railway station, Eastern Green and Cannon Park shops. Find out more.

West Midlands Bus on Demand

West Midlands Bus on Demand is a new type of bus service allowing you to book an accessible mini bus which will pick you up at your chosen time.
Individual journey prices are based on distance and are charged anywhere between £1 - £7. You can add up to 9 people to your journey for £1 each.

Alternatively, if you're a frequent traveller, you can make savings on journeys by purchasing a Bus on Demand ride pass, offered as either a 12 (£30) or 30 (£60) bundle.

cycle hire

West Midlands Cycle Hire

You can find and hire a bike at several docking stations on campus 24/7. Ebikes are also now available for hire and they can make pedalling easier!Link opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window

There are two ways to ride with West Midlands Cycle Hire, you can either buy bundles of minutes up-front or pay as you ride.
