A Christian retreat, giving you the chance to deepen your prayer life and spend some quality time with God, in the midst of everyday life. A Retreat in Daily Life is an opportunity to spend a week with time to learn about and be guided in Christian prayer alongside your normal everyday life. It involves a daily time of personal prayer (aiming at 30 minutes) and a daily half-hour individual meeting with a friendly as well as experienced prayer guide. Alongside this are workshops to help us explore prayer more generally. |

Festival of Postgraduate Research 2024The SlateJoin the Doctoral College on Thursday 23rd May 2024 for the Festival of Postgraduate Research either in person at The Slate or online. The day will include interactive talks on topics such as 'Overcoming challenges during your PhD' and 'Finding joy in your research'. It will also include PGRs showcasing their own research either in 3-minute talks or in a range of traditional and non-traditional formats. |
