You will develop your understanding and skills in career coaching through this Postgraduate Award. The course draws on a wide range of professional expertise across our course team and will enable you to provide creative and effective career support.

This Postgraduate Award enables you to develop an understanding and skills in career coaching, and their use in career development. You will also integrate this understanding with your practice in a variety of contexts.

Blend of workshops and virtual learning.

Vary between 20-40 students dependent on the module.

The one core module typically consists of intensive in-person workshops combined with independent learning using on-line study materials, links to key readings, and online webinars.

The assignment consists of a work-based project.

This course is designed for applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, including individuals who are currently involved in career development and coaching support, and individuals who wish to work in these areas. You must be able to produce written work of a good standard.

Career Coaching
This module enables participants to develop understanding and skills in career coaching, and their use in facilitating career development learning. The module aims to develop an ability to use career development theories skilfully and creatively in managing career coaching conversations. Students also integrate this understanding with their ongoing reflective practice of career coaching in a variety of contexts.
