You already have a strong foundation of subject knowledge. Now’s the time to take this further; to become an expert in your area of interest and push the boundaries of your learning.
We believe learning is a two-way process. If you choose to study with us, you’ll have opportunities to learn from people who are at the cusp of new thinking in your subject. But you’ll also offer fresh insights that help shape our teaching and learning approach.
Our commitment to research-informed teaching and learning can be seen through our Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) and our Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL). Whether you’re a postgraduate researcher or undertaking a taught course, you can apply for one of IATL’s Student as Producer Awards. Both WIHEA and IATL provide financial support for you to contribute to teaching and learning policy at Warwick or pursue innovative teaching and learning projects arising from or outside of the curriculum.
Some of our undergraduate courses also include teaching by postgraduate research students, giving you the opportunity to pass on your own knowledge to others.
Our commitment to excellent teaching has been recognised outside the University too. Since 2006, the Higher Education Academy has awarded 11 prestigious National Teaching Fellowships to individuals at Warwick.
We provide adaptable learning environments that cater for all learning styles. The PG Hub and Wolfson Research Exchange are designed exclusively for postgraduates. Our University Library is an ideal base for any study, and you’ll have access to over one million printed works and thousands of electronic books and journals. For in-depth research into social, political and economic history, use our Modern Records Centre, which holds an extensive range of nationally important primary sources.
Our Learning Grids provide spaces for group work and multimedia technology access and we’ve even created one off-campus in nearby Leamington Spa.
