Places to eat and drink
At our Students’ Union and across campus, we have cafés, bars, and restaurants, offering delicious food to eat in and take out – from coffee and cake to pub food and freshly made baguettes.
There are also regular Wednesday food markets during term time, where you can tuck into street-food, including Thai dishes, vegan options, burgers, samosas, and pizza.
The essentials
You’ll find a grocery store, post office, pharmacy, travel agent, launderettes, NHS Health Centre, and Amazon lockers on central campus. There are also several shops and supermarkets in the nearby shopping centre, Cannon Park.
Faith provision
Our Chaplaincy is home to chaplains from the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faiths. It holds services for all Christian denominations, a Shabbat meal every Friday, and an Islamic prayer hall, halal kitchen, and ablution facilities.
