Campus life

Living at Warwick

Finding the right accommodation is key to helping you settle in quickly. We currently have 11 self-catering undergraduate halls of residence on campus. Our own student property management and lettings agency manages more than 8,000 rooms both on and off campus, and provides advice to all full-time undergraduates.

Our campus

You won't be short of ways to spend your time on campus - whether it's visiting the award-winning Warwick Arts Centre, using our many sports facilities, socialising in our bars and cafés, or enjoying an open-air event. But there are peaceful spots too, with lakes, woodland and green spaces just a few minutes’ walk from central campus.

We currently have more than 300 student-run societies. So whether you’re into films, astronomy, gaming or musical theatre, you can instantly connect with people with similar interests. Or you could try something new – Bhangra dancing or circus skills anyone?

local life

Local life

What do you consider a great location? City life? Peaceful countryside? History and culture? Our campus is located in Coventry, close to Warwickshire towns such as Leamington-Spa, Kenilworth and Warwick, giving you all of this on your doorstep, so get exploring.

Whether you want to relax, compete, sweat it out in the gym or just have fun, you can achieve your goals here. Our top-class facilities include a gym, indoor climbing wall, swimming pool, tennis centre and 60 acres of sports pitches. And with 65 sports clubs, you’ll be spoilt for choice for ways to stay active.

Wellbeing and support

Our continuous support network is here to help you adjust to student life and to ensure you can easily access advice on many different issues. These may include managing your finances and workload, and settling into shared accommodation. We also have specialist disability and mental health support teams.

Your Students' Union

The Students’ Union (SU) is an independent, not-for-profit charitable organisation that represents the views of our students on campus, in the local area and nationally. It is run by students for students, headed by seven democratically elected Sabbatical Officers.

part time work

Part-time work and volunteering

We offer more than 8,000 on-campus work experience opportunities (including both voluntary and paid work), giving you opportunities to earn extra money and develop your skills. Our employment agency, Unitemps, recruits for jobs on campus and in the local area. Or you can find volunteering opportunities through Warwick Volunteers.

Arts and Culture

More than 2,000 events are held each year at Warwick Arts Centre – one of the largest multi-artform venues outside London – located on central campus. This gives you access to a packed programme of theatre, music, cinema and visual arts, and provides professional standard performance spaces for student productions and concerts.
