What have we updated?

We have updated the class size information on the 'Teaching' tab:

Original content
Our Year One seminars have a maximum of 14 students. Our Year Two and Three seminars have a maximum of 18 students. Lecture sizes vary.

Amended content
Our Year One seminars usually have no more than 14 students. Our Year Two and Three seminars usually have no more than 18 students. Lecture sizes vary.

10th March 2021

We have updated the first sentence of the third paragraph of the ‘Core Modules’ tab:

Original content
In each year you study core modules that provide a strong foundation in the academic discipline of Politics and International Studies.

Amended content
In each year you study core modules that provide a strong foundation in the academic discipline of Politics and International Studies as well as Chinese language study.

And the sixth paragraph, second sentence:

Original content
Learn how to apply them to political problems and issues from a local and global level.

Amended content
Learn how to apply them to political problems and issues from a local to the global level.

On the ‘Teaching’ tab we have added information relating to the language study:

For your language modules, you will have written and spoken language classes in small groups.

We have also added details about language assessment to the ‘Assessment’ tab (third bullet point added):

Language assessments - We will track your progress through language assignments, essays, presentations, portfolio submissions and examinations (written and oral). Throughout your course you will receive detailed, personalised feedback to help you to improve your skills.

On the ‘Core modules’ tab, we have added information relating to the Chinese Language studied in Year Four:
