On the entry requirements tab, under the A-Levels tab, changed 'The typical contextual offer is ABB.' to 'The typical contextual offer is BBB.'

Corrected the IB requirements from:

'32 plus 4 in Higher Level Mathematics or 5 in Standard Level Mathematics, or 4 in Higher Level Science or 5 in Standard Level Science - if Mathematics or Science requirements are not met through GCSEs.'

to:

'32 plus 4 in Higher Level Mathematics or 5 in Standard Level Mathematics, and 4 in Higher Level Science or 5 in Standard Level Science - if Mathematics or Science requirements are not met through GCSEs.'

Following University approval, we have made changes to the IB standard and contextual offers for this course on the ‘Entry requirements’ tab:

Previous content:

IB typical offer

34 plus 5 in Higher Level Mathematics or 6 in Standard Level Mathematics.

IB contextual offer

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the contextual eligibility criteria and whose predicted grades are close to, or slightly below, the contextual offer level. The typical contextual offer is 34. If you do not have GCSE Mathematics you will need grade 5 at Higher Level in Mathematics or 6 in Standard Level Mathematics. If you do not have GCSE Science or it is not offered at Higher Level, you will need a grade 5 in Standard Level Science. Applicants with Higher Level Mathematics (and no Science) will be considered. See if you're eligible.

Revised content:

Applicants with Higher Level Mathematics (and no Science) will be considered. See if you're eligible.

We have added additional information to the modules tab:

In year one, you will follow the core BSc Psychology programme, build the foundations of Psychology at Warwick whilst also gaining an introduction to Education Studies through two Education Studies modules.

In year two you will study eight modules. The Psychology modules delve deeper into the core areas of Psychology and you can chose two Education Studies options in areas that interest you.

In year three you will conduct an individual project showcasing the full range of intellectual and practical skills you have developed throughout your degree and choose six optional modules that interest you across the two disciplines.

We have also altered the modules listed on the modules tab.

Previous content:

  • Please note you must take two Education options in Year Two.
  • Further methods in Psychology
  • Second Year Project
  • Social Psychology
  • Language and Cognition

You will defer one of these core modules to your third year:

  • Individual Differences
  • Developmental Psychology
  • Psychobiology

We changed the following information on the 'General entry requirements' tab held in 'A levels', in reference to 'A level contextual offer'.

Previous content:

The typical contextual offer is ABB including a Natural Science if you do not have two science subjects or double science at GCSE. See if you're eligible.

Revised content:

The typical contextual offer is ABB. You also need grade B or 6 in GCSE Mathematics or Statistics. Applicants with no natural science subject at A level are normally expected to have a grade B or 6 in two science subjects or double science at GCSE. See if you're eligible.
