Following the changes made on the 14 June, we have also updated the following:
- Replaced Year Four ‘Research Skills Training’ with 'MBio Skills'
- Replace ‘Extended Research Project’ with 'MBio Research Project'

Following University approval, we have updated this course page. Here is a summary of the changes we have made:
- Removed 'important information' notices - see below
- Final year project, changed from a 'six-week research project' to 'an individual project'
- Adjusted contact hours, previously stating: You will receive 12-16 contact hours per week over 25 weeks. In your first year you should expect:
- around 10 lectures a week
- a full day in the laboratory
- a taught tutorial with your personal tutor and 6-7 of your peers - We have updated the module overview on the 'Modules' tab
- We have updated some the core modules for this degree for all years of study, particularly in Year One and some of the cores in Year Two

Important information
We are currently undertaking a curriculum review of our Life Sciences degrees for 2024 entry. We continually review our curricula to reflect developments in the relevant disciplines to deliver the best educational experience, integrating transferable and employability skills through our degrees to improve our graduate outcomes across scientific sectors. The core and optional modules will undergo approval through the University's rigorous academic processes. As modules are approved, we will update the course information on this webpage. It is therefore very important that you check this webpage for the latest information before you apply and prior to accepting an offer. Sign up to receive updates.
