Discover Warwick Days for Year 11 to Year 13

Discover Warwick Days are geared towards giving visiting school students an experience of university life from staff members and current students. They provide opportunities for students to visit our campus along with other school groups (maximise group size per school 50 visitors)

We highly recommend these events if you are unable to come to campus with your students on an Open Day.

Each Discover Warwick Day includes the opportunity to:

meet current students
explore our campus
consider Higher Education possibilities
take apart in an academic taster session

Discover Warwick Day Schedule

Welcome to Warwick Presentation

A Recruitment Officer will welcome your students to the University of Warwick.

They will deliver a presentation about opportunities at Warwick and studying at Higher Education in general, including application processes.

Welcome to Warwick Presentation takes in place in one of our state-of-the-art Lecture Theatres.

Current Student Q&A Campus Tour OPTIONAL - Academic Taster Session

Your students will take part in an Academic Taster session led by a Warwick academic to give them an experience of learning in HE environment.

Sessions will be available from Warwick’s three faculties:

·Faculty of Arts

·Faculty of Social Science

·Faculty of Science, Engineering & Medicine

Visitors will be allocated sessions by the Campus Event Team depending on availability and logistics.

We will endeavour keep school groups together and to allocate your students the faculty of their group interest where possible.

No prior knowledge is expected during these sessions, and they will be designed to be accessible and engaging to all visitors.

Bespoke Campus Visits for Year 11 to Year 13

Please note we are unable to accommodate bespoke school visits for the remainder of 2024/25 but will be back for 2025/26.

If you would like to bring a group of your students to visit us this academic year, please consider booking one of our Discover Warwick Days (above) or bring a group of students to one of our Open Days (see below).

Attending Open Days as a school

We welcome schools to attend our Open Days.

These events will give your students the chance to attend course taster sessions and Q&As with our academics, view inside a variety of student accommodation, speak to a wide range of student services including Accommodation and Student Wellbeing, learn about Student Societies, and go on tours of campus with our current students.
