Please contact schools@warwick.ac.uk to request a visit to the University, including as much information as you can about what you would like your visit to include and when you’d like to come. We will then be in touch to advise if we are able to host your visit and if so, start planning your schedule for the day.
Please note we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all requests due to staff and ambassador availability, and therefore prioritise visits for pupils in years 11-13.
A typical school visit includes:
A presentation from a recruitment officer to give an overview of the University (approx. 45 minutes) – if you would like the presentation to cover anything more specific please let us know in your request form
A guided campus tour by a student ambassador (approx. one hour long) – this provides your students with the opportunity to speak to a current student and find out everything they want to know about studying at Warwick. Please note we are unable to offer viewings inside accommodation blocks.
The above is a guide to what we can offer during your visit. If you would like anything in addition to this please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
A typical visit will last around two hours, however this is flexible depending on your requirements.
Unfortunately, we are unable to include viewings inside student accommodation as part of the visit, however you will be able to see where the accommodation is on campus.
You can request for a recruitment officer to come visit your school and speak to your students –please contactschools@warwick.ac.ukwith details of your request.
We also run a series of ‘Discover Warwick Days', which are designed specifically for years 11-13. These events are held on a Wednesday afternoon and include a ‘Why Warwick’ presentation, guided campus tour and exhibition to find out more about services across the University. Find out more and register your school here.
Yes – we have a designated area for coach parking on campus, located on Gibbet Hill Road. This will be confirmed when you book your visit.
When you arrive on campus you will be met by a student ambassador (dressed in yellow) who will escort you to the relevant area of campus for your visit.
There are many ways to reach the University of Warwick by public transport.
There are plenty of food outlets on campus run by the Student’s Union and by the University itself. Food ranges from cold sandwiches and baguettes to three course cuisine.
