Our open days are the perfect opportunity to explore campus, speak to our staff and current students and find out what Warwick has to offer you.

On the day there is a huge range of activities to choose from to help you discover what being a student here is like. Have a look at our timetable before you arrive to make sure you don’t miss anything – we have everything from subject-specific talks to accommodation tours and society performances.

What happens when I book?

When you book a place on an open day, you’ll be sent a confirmation email with a barcode ticket. Please bring this with you on the day (either on your phone or a print-out) so we can check you in at one of our Registration Desks. These desks are based near all the key entry points to campus – just look out for our Student Ambassadors in bright yellow t-shirts! Once you’re checked in, you’ll also get a printed copy of the programme and a map so that you can plan your day and find your way around.

So you can make the most out of your day, we’ve put together some of our top tips below:

1. Plan your visit

If you already know what subject you want to do, make sure you check out the programme for that course and plan which talks and activities you’d like to attend. Our open days are open from 9am-5pm with a mix of pre-bookable and drop in sessions throughout the day, so there's plenty of time to fit everything in.

2. Ask questions

Open days are all about asking questions to find out what life is really like at Warwick. There will be friendly staff and students all over campus so do stop and approach them if you have a question or if there are particular people or places you’d like to see.

3. Remember to check in and have your barcode to hand

When you arrive, please head to one of our Registration desks around campus so we can scan your ticket and give you your open day map and guide. The guide has everything you need to know about sessions, where to eat on campus and who's got a stand at the Information Fair.

4. Visit the Information Fair

This fair is a great place to find out about the variety of societies, teams and departments that all contribute to the student experience at Warwick. It’s open from 9:30-4:30pm in Rootes Building so make sure to stop by as part of your visit.

5. Explore our campus

Warwick is a huge campus and there are lots of different things to see and explore. As well as the stuff you’d expect like a Library, Accommodation and Lecture Theatres, we’re also host to the award-winning Warwick Arts Centre and a brand new multi-million pound Sports and Wellness Hub. We run student-led campus tours every 15 minutes from the Piazza so do take some time to go for a wander - choosing where to study is just as important as choosing what to study.

6. Check out our Halls of Residence

We have a number of our accommodation blocks open for you to look around on the day. Before you get here, we recommend watching our fly-through accommodation videos so you can get a feel for what each residence is like. There's a lot to see and do on the day and this will save you having to visit every place. You can also attend our Living at Warwick talk to learn more about what it’s actually like to live on-campus.

7. Wear comfortable shoes

The Warwick campus is pretty big and it’s going to be a busy day. You’ll thank us later!
