Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.

The above companies were started by me together with my husband Pujan Sumaria Shah, also an alumnus of Warwick. Both the companies are in the gold mining industry. My current role involves the overall management of the company. I love the challenging environment that Tanzania brings to the opportunity – it's been a journey of many learnings.

What’s your favourite part of the role?

Troubleshooting.

What are the key skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?

Accounting, finance, and management skills.

Did you have a specific career path in mind when you chose to study at Warwick?

I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

What top tips do you have for Warwick graduates who would like to work in your sector?

Building a network of friends is always very helpful together with the line of education one chooses.
