Why did you choose to study this course? What about it inspired you to enrol?
I chose to study this course because I have always been fascinated by the power and potential of computer science, especially in artificial intelligence. The idea of using AI, in particular the NLP technique, to solve real-world problems, motivated me to enrol in this program.
What were your highlights of your course?
The highlight of my course was the hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects. One standout experience was a project where we developed an AI model to predict people's emotions using online social media data, which was both challenging and rewarding. I was surprised by the depth of knowledge I gained in machine learning and data analysis, and this project also opened my mind to delivering AI into the clinical setting
What have you been doing since graduating and how has studying this course supported you in achieving this?
After graduating, I have been pursuing a PhD at UCL, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence and clinical information to address chronic disease care. The knowledge and skills I acquired during my studies at Warwick have been instrumental in supporting my research and entrepreneurial endeavours in this area.
What was your favourite thing about studying Computer Science at Warwick?
My favourite aspect of studying Computer Science at Warwick was the collaborative and innovative environment. I enjoyed working with like-minded peers and faculty who are passionate about technology and its potential to drive positive change in society.
