Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.

As a legal counsel for both theAsia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East regions at the firm, I am the key legal contact for everything related to client contracts. The role attracted me primarily because the legal teamis more than just legal advisors; we are also business partners to the consultants in the deals. I also like the challenge of meeting and negotiating contracts with high-profile clients and their legal teams.

What’s your favourite part of the role?

Working alongside international teams and stakeholders and being more independent in my role.

What are the key skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?

I would say it’s the ability to understand and get to know different cultures as the Warwick student community is very diverse. I was able to forge lifelong friendships with people from different backgrounds and countries. My legal and logical thinking also started at Warwick.

Did you have a specific career path in mind when you chose to study here?

I had chosen to study Law for my undergraduate degree as I was planning to become a solicitor.

What top tips do you have for Warwick graduates who would like to work in your sector?

Connect with people from the industry and attend networking events as much as possible. You never know who you will meet and what you can learn or get inspiration from that could benefit you in the future.
