Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.

I am performing transaction monitoring and looking for anomalies, trying to detect money laundering or any other financial fraud.

What’s your favourite part of the role?

The positive impact and the nature of the work being like a puzzle.

What are the key skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?

Mainly transferable skills, from learning quickly to good organisational skills. My experience with writing reports at the University was also an advantage.

What top tips do you have for Warwick graduates who would like to work in your sector?

Be open to learning and conscientious about doing it.

What does a typical day look like for you?

Looking at transaction histories, assessing the account activity, and then reporting my findings.
