What’s your standout memory of Warwick?

Inflating sofas and chairs at the petrol station air pump near campus late in the evening to cosy up our campus rooms. The police pulled in but I think they were just curious as to what on earth we were doing!

How would you sum up Warwick in the time that you were there and your generation of students?

Tight knit, friendly community, fun alongside learning.

What was the student culture like at Warwick, and were there any annual traditions, societies, sports clubs, or events that you remember?

Work hard and play hard. Loved the Law Ball and Final Fling. Top Banana was the best night of the week! Right Said Fred played live but there was a power cut, so they just carried on without amps while we sang along.

Finish the sentence: Warwick influenced who I am today, because…

I graduated feeling like I had the best teacher training available at the time, and that encouraged me to not just teach but to try to change education for the better.
