Arriving for the first time and just knowing that this was the place I wanted to spend my university years.
How would you sum up Warwick in the time that you were there and your generation of students?
The beautiful campus, with its endless opportunities and all the amazing people that helped create the best three years of my life.
What was the student culture like at Warwick, and were there any annual traditions, societies, sports clubs, or events that you remember?
Jumping out of an aeroplane with the parachute club.
Hitchhiking to Paris with the Warwick Raising and Giving (RAG) Society.
Playing away at Stafford Prison with the Handball Team (for some reason, we never played them at home!).
All the amazing bands that used to play in the Students’ Union.
Playing one football match in the morning and a second in the same afternoon – and both matches went to extra time!
Finish the sentence: Warwick influenced who I am today, because…
It gave me my independence in a warm, friendly, sociable environment.
It gave me a unique set of opportunities I could never have dreamed of experiencing.
It set me up for life with a fantastic degree, in a subject I loved.
It encouraged my work hard, play hard ethic.
It allowed me to meet some amazing people and make friends for life.
