My year at Warwick gave me a fantastic boost of my research in Algebraic Topology. Moreover the teaching of Colin Rourke and of Sir Christopher Zeeman were the keystone for my way of teaching once back in Italy.

I had a quick career as a full professor in the University of Bologna (oldest in Europe!) and I am now an Honorary Professor of it.

I've been recently interviewed in the framework of an interview series of the AATRN (Applied Algebraic Topology Research Network)
