MA Creative and Media Enterprises, 2018
My two Masters years at Warwick passed so quickly, but I have many fond memories from them and I reminisce often of my classmates, the seminars, evening drinks at Fusion, the yummy treats and hot drinks at Curiositea, and the campus in general, where I’d spend many walks around and never get bored.
The degree, the diverse curriculum, and very international student group massively nurtured my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. I immersed myself in various start-up competitions in Oxford and Sheffield whilst doing my degree, and sought to set up a creative hub in my department to foster collaboration and creative ideas between our 4 courses.
I did my degree while working part time at the University of Oxford, and as I graduated, I continued to work there developing my events management skills and applying lots of the practical skills and knowledge gained during my MA in Creative and Media Enterprises degree.
After constantly looking for my niche both in the employed and more recently, in my self-employed journey after launching my business, Golden Branch VA, last year, I zoned in on what I was great at and enjoyed doing, and explored my passion for technology and online tools and assisting creative and impact-driven businesses with their marketing and growth.
I still maintain a strong interest in all the areas I was involved in during my time at Warwick and apply them in my work (apart from my research thesis on blockchain technology in the art market; but who knows what the future will bring!)
