What’s your standout memory of Warwick?
The bustle and general comings and goings in the Philosophy Department common room as lectures and seminars changed over. Talking ideas, views and gossip with great people.
How would you sum up Warwick in the time that you were there and your generation of students?
Political, energetic and ambitious. Warwick was hitting the headlines for politics, and while Union meetings were well attended and full-time union rules were sought after most students just got on with studies and membership of the many clubs and societies.
What was the student culture like at Warwick, and were there any annual traditions, societies, sports clubs, or events that you remember?
There was a very wide range of clubs and societies including University Radio Warwick and The Boar newspaper. These two high profile societies alone produced professional (household names) media presenters and journalists.
